92 Sqdn loss JF567

hello,
Anyone have any info on the loss of 92 squadron Spitfire Mk VIII serial number JF567 please ?
Where wasc the loss and who was its pilot, what happened to him ?

Alex,

According to Spitfire production list shot down by return fire from Do217 near Isole Tremoli on 10-10-1943.
Pilot likely to have been WO 1 Lauchlan B. MacKay (RCAF), who was killed and is commemorated at the Malta Memorial with mentioned date.
