Dear friend, dear reader, dear enthusiast,

You certainly appreciated the first three issues of the series "Luftwaffe Gallery". One year after the release of LuGa #3, we are proud and glad to announce the release of LuGa #4.

This new release provides fascinating subjects:
1) EMBLEM GALLERY: LUFTWAFFE AIRCRAFT EAGLE EMBLEMS
2) CAMOUFLAGE GALLERY: PAINT SCHEMES OF III./JG 3, SPRING 1942
3) EQUIPMENT GALLERY: METAL PENNANTS
4) COLOUR GALLERY: THE JU 87
5) EQUIPMENT GALLERY: PILOT VICTORY STICKS Part 2
6) MARKINGS GALLERY: THE TAIL BAND COLOURS OF III./JG 6 (by Kees Mol)
READER'S CORNER

We just received the first batch of books and are very happy with the printing high level, just as it was with the preceeding issues.
The price remains 18 Euros. If you are interested, you can order your copy now and/or visit our web-site: www.luftwaffe.be

Best regards

Received my copy a few days ago and once again it is a great issue in a series that is proving to be a 'must have'.

Thanks Erik for this issue.

As you said it's a very high quality printing.
The point of view you adopted in this serie to look at details-we-think-we-knew is a good way to discover - or to rediscover - them.

See http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...=27108&page=56 starting #555 as Lu/Ga 4 "side effect"!
I agree with hucks216; it's a "must have".

Best regards, Franck.

Yes, very good issue and it's just missing the sound of the Daimler-Benz DB 605...

Re: Luftwaffe Gallery 4

Hello,

thank you for the positive comments!
I have been informed that the site The Modelling News just posted a review:
http://www.themodellingnews.com/2013...mombeecks.html

I received several interesting reactions. Among them: Franck (Italy) who identified the tail (completing the Maritime Strike Aircraft Rudders article) and published in the reader's corner: this belonged to Erwin Sawallisch of JG 27. Well seen, thank you!
And an interesting reflexion of Ruud (The Netherlands): On page 2 there is a picture of a Me-109 (14) with a staffel emblem of I./JG 1 that is wrong, the Netherlands is shown the wrong way. On the profile of that plane on page 3 it is the same, wrong also.
The correct way is on the picture on the bottom of page 3.

This isn't of course a misinterpretation from our side, or a problem during the graphic process. The reason is probably that the mechanics used the same pencil for both sides of the aircraft.

Best regards

Erik
