He111 6/KG100 shot down 14/11/43
Hi guys
The aircraft 6N+EP flown by Uffz Walter Pink was shot down by two Beaufighters north of Leros. Pink and his WT/op were rescued, both wounded, but observer & A/G were killed. 1) From where was this aircraft operating? 2) What was its mission? 3) The two survivors were rescued from their dinghy - by whom? 4) Are the British interrogation reports of the two crewman available? 5) What were their injuries? Any information will be appreciated. Cheers Brian |

Re: He111 6/KG100 shot down 14/11/43
I have found that many of the Mediterranean interrogation reports do not exist but it this case, I have none of the crew POW. Gefr Helmut Grundke is buried at Dionyssos-Rapendoza. No records for Bruder being killed or missing though?
