Another interesting selection, many thanks for bringing them to our attention.

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=6238469606 is, according to p42 of Meyer and Stipdonk's "Flugzeug Documentation - Von der Fliegerschule zum Einsatzverband........", a Klemm 35 B carrying the emblem of A/B 72.

However, they also indicate that this schule had another emblem "an abstract plane over a snow-covered hilltop". It is the later that Ketley and Rolfe illustrate in their book - their text states that this was in use from 1939-44.

Meyer/Stipdonk, quoting from a onetime pupil, state that the e-bay example was in use at least in the period July 1940 to June 1941.

Can anyone add to this ?

the first photo of Bf109`s group shows probably an a/c from 7/JG77 in Russia.
