Crash-landing III./JG26

Hello to all,

I'm searching for informations about a crash-landing of Bf-109 G-6 Serial: 15630.
It was on 18.10.1943 in Monchy-Breton.
The plane crashed on 22.02.1944 with my grand-uncle Hermann Schmidt in the near of Avignon.
Who was the pilot on the first crash-landing?
Thank you!

Kind regards

Christian

Crash landing III./JG 26

Hello Christian

Unfortunately if the pilot was not a casualty his name was generally not given in the daily loss returns to the Generalquartiermeister der Luftwaffe. It may be that in the specific incident you are searching for this was the case.

Horrido!

Leo
