Kommando Jungclaussen Stalingrad cauldron

Hi all,

I would like to know any details i.e, mission/strength reports, pilots/crews, losses, aircraft codes etc of this small Stuka detachment which served in the Stalingrad cauldron during December 1942 and January 1943 - if such are available. The sonderstaffel was led by Lt. Heinz Jungclaussen, the staffelkapitän of 6./StG2, and was the last remaining stuka unit within the cauldron. It most likely was made up by volunteers of II./StG2 when the rest of the group withdraw from the cauldron. The detachment flew ground attack missions from airfields inside the cauldron until Pitomnik was lost to the Russians. Of course I would like to see pics related to this unit very much. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much
Armin
