Ju 87 B-1, B-2 cowling differences

Hello Folks,
I'm trying to figure out the differences between the B-1 and B-2 Stuka cowling and radiator differences. Is there a good refrence that covers this?
TIA!
Kent

Re: Ju 87 B-1, B-2 cowling differences

Kent,

In my experience, the best source of published Ju 87 photos in general -- and of their cowlings, in particular -- is 'Stukas!: Les Avions Allemandes d'Attaque au Sol (1933-1945),' by Léonard (Album Historique series [unnumbered]; Editions Heimdal [France], 1997; in French; 196 pages). The differences between B-1 and B-2 cowlings is shown especially well in photos on pages 49 and 52 there. Those photos also make the point that variations existed, perhaps due to retrofits, because the B-1 clearly has ejector -- rather than stub -- exhaust pipes.
