11.03.44 - Staka 3./SG 4, KIA.
 
Hallo.

I am searching info on that pilot. I think he was in Fw190.
Any info on pilot, crashplace is known?

Much appreciated for any help.

Hi Evgeny,

It was a transport aircraft crash, in which a number of I./S.G. 4 pilots were killed or injured. We've been in contact with two of the families (including the family of Hans-Henning Bernhard Woldemar Max von Prittwitz und Gaffron), and have some photos of the funeral. Morten and I will be publishing more about Hans-Henning in our next two FW 190 in the Mediterranean volumes.

PS - I'll be in contact with you soon via email about an entirely different matter.
