Can any one help with where these Transporgeschwaders were serving

1944- 1944 Transportfliegerfuhrer 2.

October 1944 - January 1945- II./T.G.2 6th Staffell.

also this unit K.G. z.b.v. 300 and 102

You might want to locate a couple of books on the Luftwaffen-Transportverbaende before proceeding. You will need to know something about it before asking questions. Just a suggestion.

Hi Larry thanks for help appriciateit. but someone was kind enough to email me info on the transport geschwader and I looked on Michael Holms site and Lexicon der Wehrmacht. I will look into the book you mentioned.

That's great, Steven. But I should point out that Lexicon and the Holm site duplicate each other, with the Holm site offering quite a bit more detail.

If, after studying the organization of the Transportfliegerverbaende, you have some very specific questions about a particular unit on a specific date, let me know and I will try and answer them. The transport units moved very frequently during 1944-45, but if there is a specific unit and date you are interested it I can try to find what you want.
