Night fighters versus night fighters

Probably the most frequent encounters were between RAF intruders (Mosquitos, Beaus) intercepting GAF NFs returning to base. Has there ever been a study of the subject? AAF P-61s also would be interesting.

There were also the night fighters used to escort the night raids, and these have been covered in books dealing with the work of 100 Group. Notably Martin Streetly's Confound and Destroy.
