B52 squadron info needed 10 Jan 73.
 

Hiya,

I am trying to find out the unit and callsign of the B52's that flew on the night of the 10 Jan 73. Their target area was near the city of Vinh and they received alot of SAM strikes.

Conclusive info appears hard to come by, but 307th SW from U-Tapao, Thailand, with B-52D types is a likely candidate in the weeks just before the Paris Peace Accords.

next loss was
13th Jan 73
B-52D, 55-0116 - 307th hit by AAA over North VN, emergency landing Da Nang, 6 crew OK.
