Is there at these dates known loss for a Beaufighter betw. 11h30 nd 12h00 GMT between Greece nd Kreta ??

Hello Rémi,

Brian Cull in "Fighters over the Aegean" has F/Lt James E. Atkins and F/O. R. L. Wellington lost with JL514 "R" (227 Sqdn) on the 21st May following conflict with an Ar 196. No time given however.
A/B's JA100 to JZ999 has JL514 - 301 FTU/227 - Shot down by return fire from Ju52/3ms over Aegean, 21.5.43.
