Does anyone have more information of Uffz Johann(es) Kiefer? I found his name once on the Forum here (WIA FW190G-3).

Hi Bart,

According to information from Matti Salonen, Johann Kiefer was posted missing on 15 August 1944 east of Bauske, and was not seen again.

Johann Kiefer survived the war. Jim P. thanks for information, had most of it. Anything more known?

According to NVM at WASt and DRK Vermisstenbildliste Band KJ, Page 286, Fw Johann Kiefer is still MIA.
Do you know, what happened to him on August 15, 1944 when flying Fw 190 G-3, Werk.-Nr. 190056. The NVM states "Nach Abfangen nicht mehr beobachtet. Bruch 100 %".

Dear Matti,

First, let me thank you for all of your incredible work over the years. You are an amazing fount of knowledge and it is truly appreciated.

Regarding the aircraft of Fw. Kiefer, unless I am mistaken a Werknummer from within the 190XXX series would make it an Fw190G-8 rather than an Fw190G-3.
