KG76, JG 26, KG 51 Edelweiss Beauvais-Tillé

I have just learned from my grand Aunt that my grand father is an aviator from the Luftwaffe. my grand ma never told me, that was a secret in the family. I am looking for him. my dad has the Name Maxime Henri Gustave he is born in the town of Beauvais in Décember 1943 in picardie, France. there was at the time a german airfield base in Beauvais-tillé. the KG 76 participated at the Battle of Britain, from 15/08/1943 the JG 26 and KG 51 were based there. All three german air forces where base in Beauvais-Tillé airfield. My grand aunt told me that the aviator was probably an officer. the names Maxime, Henri, Gustave are unique in my family. the forename Gustave is maybe a clue. my grand father , the german aviator was probably shot down in 1943 just before my father's birth . Anyone can help? I speak English and french.
