Manfred Spenner

Searching for information about Manfred Spenner. Unfortunately have misplaced my notes - a good way to begin the new year ! He served in JG52 early in the war and was wounded. Later with JG53 and JG4. Shot down and became a POW ( March ??, 1944 in Italy). The Luftwaffe Claims site by Tony Woods has a number of victories for him. Anyone have a total of his claims. etc.

Manfred Spenner, * 1918-05-20, + 1984
1940-03-21, 3./JG 52, Bf 109E-3, Herxheim 9 km südöstlich Landau, Werkstattflug nach Motorwechsel und beim Abfangen auseinandergebrochen, Bruch 100 %.
1944-03-09, 3./JG 4, Bf 109G-6, WNr 161371, 3 gelbe, 3 km südlich Statione di Carraota, Absturz infolge Flakbeschuß, Bruch 100 %.
