Brought down while attacking Convoy UGS 37 off Cap Bengut (Algerian coast).
Have emailed you an excerpt from a book with regards to the operation that day.

He is listed in the DRK Vermisstenbildliste but his entry has no photo. Same for Wallner. And the Soldbuch has the signature of Hans Wittig (DKiG).

Hi Richard well done on getting the KG77 Soldbcu this was mine many years ago I have copies of documents to this guy and the pilot somewhere.
