Fw 190 D-9 JG 4 tail?

Hi,

I just came across the following auction that has a - unfortunately very blurred - shot of a Fw 190 tail. At first sight I would say it looks like a D-9 tail with a JG 4 RVB. What do you think?

Dear Roger,

I believe that this is indeed a D-9 tail, and even if the photo is very blurred, it would seem that there is a white pinstripe delineating the Geschwader colours - as far as I am aware, only (Stab) JG 4 applied this on its D-9s. This would certainly exclude the possibility of a JG 2 aircaft (its yellow markings showing up black depending on the type of film used).
