HEy guys...

This was found at an old Luftwaffe airfield after the war.

Looks like some sort of oil filler tank? No clue really...

Any thoughts?

since the output nozzle is facing upwards, this is obviously a device designed to clean the bottock of Herman Göring on locations he can't reach :D

Looks to me like a ground equipment pump for pressure testing of Aircraft hydraulic systems e.g. Under carriage, control surfaces, etc. I remember using a pump similar idea to this on a Sea Vixen to lower the under carriage. While on maintenance in the hanger.

this looks merely like a manual driven grease- or oilpump. Just a guess of mine.

I posted in Quick reply and it disappeared.

This I think is a high pressure hydraulic oil pump for use with pressure testing aircraft hydraulic systems e.g. Under carriage or control surfaces etc.

I remember using a pump very similar to this on a Sea vixen to lower the under carriage during maintenance.

Interesting...

The small item off to the left is a Spaltfilter (filter)...points up...so maybe something attaches there? Up top is a Schrader valve...so for sure was pressurized internally...

If we are going along the lines of Hyrdaulic Pressure Tester...what would the "airbrush" type end used be for? Appears to have an end that also has some sort of mesh cap.

Also seems to be 2 inlets and outlets...

Any comparable items (like the Sea Vixen one), for reference?

I seem to remember there were two connections something like a red and blue point, to the under carriage hydraulic line these were only small as bearing in mind the system only used a small amount of additional oil to pressurize the circuit.
