Fallschirmkampfbeobahter-Staffel losses 1945
 

Another researcher kindly sent me a copy of an German article on the KTB-Staffel on supply flights for 1945. I found I had details of most of the mentioned losses from the GQM loss lists under Schleppgr. 1, however nothing for the following two :-
1/ He111 6Z+HG on the 8/9-04-1945 crew not named missing on flight to Breslau.
2/ He111 6Z+SC on the 11/12-04-1945 shot down Welzow Fw Behr, Fw Korinth, Fw Nahredrf all killed Fw Nanninger badly injured.
Are fuller details for these two losses known please, at this time I gather they were operating as part of Transport Gruppe Herzog,

for the second loss is something written in the book "Fliegerhorst Welzow; 1935-1945, Einsatz- und Ausbildungsstätte der deutschen Luftwaffe".

The He 111 and the crew opearting as part of the Gruppe Herzog and were killed by fighters during landing in Welzow. The graves of Nahrendorf, Korinth and Behr are in Welzow.
