Re: Bf 109 T-2 of JG 77 Wallisheck April 1941?
This was W.Nr. 7743.
According to Francis Marshall's book on the Toni it served with JG 77 in 1941, but I have no further details regarding Staffel or pilot. It later (1943) went to NJG101 where it was damaged 30 % on 6. June that year. PIlots know to have flown it include Wallischeck and Riediger (test andfatory pilots). Regards, Kjetil |

Hello all, look here:
But I don´t know if it is up-to-date... I think Jochen Prien could help you in questions about the Staffel. Regards, Heuser |

Hi, Heuser and Kjetil
In accordance with Bf 109 Stammkennzeichen it belonged to I./JG 77. The Staffel is not mentioned. This T-2 was used in combat for this unit? Cheers, Franklin |
Re: Bf 109 T-2 of JG 77 Wallisheck April 1941?
At least it was on strength with the unit, but as there is no record of accidents above 10 % it may have been in storage or seen little operational flying.
If you are looking for a Bf 109T with an interesting war history there are better aircraft to choose! Regards, Kjetil |
