Loss of Do 217 of 3/KG2 on 04.05.1942?

Hi,

Can anyone provide details of the loss of the Do 217 lost on the 4th June 1942?

Where and how was it lost and who were the crew?

Many thanks

Rick

Rick,

Your posting contains 2 different dates. I believe the date should be 3/4 June 1942, where the Staffel lost 2 Do 217s.

Which specific aircraft are you interested in, as I have both crew details, all of whom were killed or listed as missing.

all the best,

David

Good point David.

We have asked all members to use the date format of DD/MM/YY with the month written out. This would be as in 15/Jun/1944. This way the convention is clear to everyone. Our American system can be way too confusing to the rest of the world. But, hey, we're still not on the metric system!
