Looking for Photo Confirmation/Source
1 Attachment(s)
Dear all,
I have been stumbling across a photo on some russian website (attached) that I was trying to confirm a source for. Obviously, if you search the Internet for the photo, you will find http://www.litmir.net/br/?b=183558 which is where I have taken it from. What I am after is the "primary" source - the image shows clear signs of a scanned raster image so I would think it had been paper-published some time before - but where? And if you have come across a paper-published version of it, does it give a source? There is also a debate going on if the photo is "real" os a very good shot of a model - mostly because the tail antenna of the interim-nightfighter is so clearly visible as it usually only is on model shots... Nonetheless, any feedback is welcome - one way or the other... Andreas [Edit: For clarification: I have posted the same question into forum-der-wehrmacht.de just in case some of you are readong both forums - just wanted to extend the reach.] |
Re: Looking for Photo Confirmation/Source
Dear Andreas,
I think that these are models made by Günter Sengfelder. Günter is an expert modeler and photos of his models can frequently be confused as the real thing. Regards, Richard |
Re: Looking for Photo Confirmation/Source
Dear Richard (and everyone else),
after having seen your reference to Günther Sengfelder and having received the same hint in a different forum, the matter seems to be closed. Very nice set indeed. Thanks for the input, Andreas |
