Re: Another Training Term
I believe the term refers to a precision or "spot' landing.

Re: Another Training Term
Hi
Ziellandeübungen serve to be prepared in case of engine failure at a flight. The pilot have training flights. Short over by the airfield mostly in ft 2000. - 1500 they stop the Engine and exercise a gliding landing on airfield Sorry for my bad english. Regards |
Re: Another Training Term
Done as training and as a sport. Points are given for closeness to target the pilot sets his wheels to the ground.

Re: Another Training Term
"Atterrissage de precision".
Lilsis is describing a "PTS" with the same aim, engine being cut, whatever the field. Schnautzer is right too since this can be done with the engine running; generally with full flaps. Regards |
