I have the F540/541 but does anyone have the composite report for this day in particular the shooting down of two Ju 188s

My database shows only a reference to FCCC, and the ORB. No combat report located so far.

Seems to me that Charles "Windmill" Demoulin spoke of this mission in his book ("Mes oiseaux de feu" in French), but I don't have it at hand.

Edited: the english translation is called "Firebirds! Typhoon in action". Just in case :)

Thanks but Shelton got separated from the main body of fighters which attacked the Ju 188s

Have you tried the RAF Museum? I was told-some time ago-that they hold a number of combat reports.

If Frank didn't find it, I doubt whether it exists. Combat reports are the "property" of the NA as far as i am aware

Chris,

Get someone from the DORIS at Hendon to look in AM Book on 21 Feb 1944. Unfortunately unable to help at present, as awaiting second eye op for 18 March, having been off since 24 December 2013! Should be back end of March early April if that helps? Depends what your time line is.
