Japanese aircraft tested by the Luftwaffe

Could anyone tell me if there were any Japanese aircraft evaluated by the Luftwaffe. I've posted the same topic on other forums with little feedback. Hope someone can help.

I have always read that the Germans attempted to have gained a manufacturing license for the Ki 46 at some point in time as well as an example of the E8N being purchased for use (in spurious British markings) on the commerce raider Orion in early 1941. Unfortunately I do not have any further details but I am certain that someone else will be able to add to this.

German pilots flew at least one Japanese aircraft in Japan.
