Bombing Attacks on Northern England 1942-44

I am looking for any books, especially privately published ones, that would assist me with some research i am compiling for a future book detailling the life and career of a German bomber pilot, and holder of the Knight's Cross. I already have the excellent series 'Then and Now' that covers the bombing of Britain throughout the war, but i also know there are other books that cover the bombing of Northern England. I am most interested in Middlesborough, Hull and other industrial towns in this area. I have seen some of these publications for sale on the internet but have since forgotten their titles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The period i am most interested in is 1942-1944.

Hi David.

"Broken Eagles Luftwaffe Losses Over Yorkshire" by Bill Norman is a great book about attacks in the North of England.

He Also wrote a book before this called "Luftwaffe Over The North"

I have both books and they are a great reference to some of the crashes / incidents in Northern England.

Regards
Jon
