Help with identifying a Bf109 G6 part

Info about the pilot, plane and crash: https://ktsorens.tihlde.org/flyvrak/sirdal.html
I need help with identifying this part: http://imgur.com/a/nDgU0

If anyone could tell me what it did and what it is, that would be great.

People have suggested it came from a 210, and that it had something to do with the trim and/or flaps operation.

Hello,
When is was a 109 part the code should be R8 - 109 not 210

Hello,

not compulsory! :) in the 109 there were also parts
with different part-numbers used, from 108/109/110/210/009...

In this case the R-*** is also only the rough forged part,
perhaps it got a real 109-number with its own drawing
after being machined!

100% not Me109.

This is an Me210 part.

I have seen several parts that could very well be this part. All are in the mechanisms controlling the aircraft. See this similar part pic 1 on a control colom.
I have gone through the Bf109E and G parts manuals and have not found the number on the part you have.

There are parts that do not start or have 109 in it. see pic 2

Your part was never used on an Me109. It is from an Me210

Raude,
So, did you find this part on the Bf 109 crashsite you quoted in your first spot or is that part simply not related with?

Best regards
