crew of NJG 6

Gentlemen,

looking for details fate of NJG 6 crew: Obfw. Lehmann, Uffz. Baumann a Schimel.
This crew with Bf 110G-4 Nr. 180580 belly landed in south of Czech on 25 november 1944.

According to the book on personel losses of Nachtjagd, a Ju 88 G-6 (WNr unknown) of II./NJG 6 did not return from a ground attack sortie on the Bamberg - Nürnberg area on 16-17 April 1945. The crew was:

Ofw. Lehmann MIA
Uffz. Baumann MIA
Ogefr. Schwaiger MIA
Fw. Bettger MIA

The two first may be the same as in your crash, but their full names is not given and their names are too common for the Volksbund database to help.

Hello ,

I have a Ogfr Schwaiger Karl ( KIA ) born on 02/10/1922 at Reutlingen , buried Baureuth grave nr 813.
