"Fiat Br-20s" shot down by 82d FG on 17 April 1943
 

Wondering if anyone has any information on four possible Fiat BR-20s claimed as shot down by the 82d FG in the vicinity of Zembra Island during the afternoon of 17 April 1943? The pilots involved noted that the identification was not definite. That said, they shot down three, then a fourth and a Ju-88 soon afterward. I have checked Italian sources to include Pedrali and Nicola Malizia x 2 books. Nor do I consider claims as gospel, but usually they are not terribly inaccurate with regard to unescorted bombers. I try to do a bit of work before asking such questions - which is why I haven't asked about the He-177s seen by P-38 groups during this period!
