RAF Manston August 1942

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what Polish Wing was stationed at RAF Manston late August 1942. I know that 317 Squadron was there, I have been informed it was part of a Polish Wing ? but I am unsure what other units.

In August 42 317 and 306 Sqns were based at Northolt, shortly to be joined by 315 Sqn in September

Any visits to Manston were temporary affairs

Martin,

Thank you. Was there a resident wing at Manston at the time, or did Fighter Command squadrons rotate between airfields. The 218 Squadron ORB records that a "Polish Wing" was stationed at Manston.
