Captured Macchi 202 photo from Ed West thread
 

Hi Guys.
A few days ago Ed West gave a list of photos. No 5 on the list was a Macchi 202 with a soldier on the left wing.
It was auctioned and I tried to bid, but as a South African it would not accept my bids.
If you look at the background there is the fuselage of GL ?. a captured 109 used by 5 sqn SAAF.
I was desperate to get it for my book on axis a/c. Does anybody know who bought it, and how I can get hold of him.
Also, does anybody have a bigger version of that photo???
