Ju88 of I/KG30 lost 1 August 1940

Hi guys

The above aircraft FTR from a sortie to Carlisle and was reported to have crashed into the North Sea.

Is it feasible that this was the 'Do17' claimed shot down by 607 Squadron off the North-East coast?

I do not have times for either incident.

Cheers
Brian

Hi guys

Re the above, I believe that 616 Squadron attacked the same aircraft and identified it as a Ju88 - time around 13:17-13:30 off Flamboro Head.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Brian

KG30 "F" Ju88 Fl.Pl.Sola? engine trouble after take off crashlanding 40%
KG30 "F" Ju88 Fl.Pl.Sola? landing incident 100%
1/KG30 "F" Ju88A-1 Carlisle unknowm cause 100% 4 NCO crew missing.
