Ju88 of I/KG30 lost 1 August 1940
Hi guys
The above aircraft FTR from a sortie to Carlisle and was reported to have crashed into the North Sea. Is it feasible that this was the 'Do17' claimed shot down by 607 Squadron off the North-East coast? I do not have times for either incident. Cheers Brian |

Hi guys
Re the above, I believe that 616 Squadron attacked the same aircraft and identified it as a Ju88 - time around 13:17-13:30 off Flamboro Head. Hope this helps. Cheers Brian |
