Fw. Laubenheimer 2./JG300
 

Hi Guys,

Currently compiling the loss page for the crew of Halifax II HR918, shot down on the 23/24.08.1943 near Satuelle on behalf of the Ellingworth family, their half brother Leslie King was the Flight Engineer. I believe that this Halifax was shot down by Feldwebel. Laubenheimer of 2./JG300, later 1./JG301.

I am hoping that one of our forum members may have some further information regarding Fw. Laubenheimer? It would be great if someone has his photo to add to the page, I know the Ellingworth family would like to see who he was. Sometime after this shoot down Franz Laubenheimer was transferred to 1./JG301 and was eventually shot down and killed on the 18th March 1944 flying Bf 109G-6 Wnr.162373. As Franz Laubenheimer also lost his life it would be very nice to create a page of remembrance for Franz! Can you help?
