Spitfire Identity?
Looking at this wreck, with German soldiers looking it over, the serial number seems to be N3181 or N3191. Both of which are wrong according to "The Spitfire History " since those two Spitfires were not lost in action. Any ideas?

Re: Spitfire Identity?
The constraint that it has to have crashed on German-held territory rules out some other options, but how about N3194?
