Fw. Ernst Faak Ju 88 A6+AH

Hi
Earlier I posted asking for information about the crew of Ju 88 A6+AH and soon had all their names.
Researching them it seems Fw. Ernst Faak was a recipient (posthumously) of the Deutches Kreuz in Gold. Is there anyway to find out what action Fw Ernst Faak had been involved in to receive this award ?

It is more normal that the DKiG was awarded for a series of flights or actions as opposed to just one
