Hello,
Can anyone shed some light on the following, a He 111 (most probably from the KG 54) was downed and should have crashlanded near Tielt on 27 May 1940. Is this correct? If so, can anyone give more details such as: * crew * Planemarkings * Worknr. * etc.. Thanks in advance Stijn |

Re: He 111 - 27 May 1940
Larry, Peter,
I noticed that Stijn was from Tielt and was investigation downed a/c in that area so I asked him off board if he knew where exactly this a/c came down. He apparently didn't. He asked me the same question as in post #1 but since Peter couldn't remember where this info was coming from I didn't pass it on to him because as far as I know this info still has to be confirmed. Still don't know where exactly this a/c came down but I'm working on it. Will keep you informed. Regards, Rudi. |
