The two Bf-109 k-4 at Neubiberg in May 1945
Hello,
Two Bf-109 K4 were at Neubiberg in May 1945 from JG52. One had the last tree digit number 215 painted on the rear fuselage and wore a Black chevron with 1. And maybe the Wnr 332215 or 334215 with a wheel tail door opened and Without wheel doors under the wings. The other two had a double chevron or maybe a triangle with a chevron, and had the weel doors under the wings. Wich plane was used by Maj Wilhelm Batz ? And who used the other ? Please do you have more informations about these two planes ? Thank you very much, Best regards, Lumabe. |

Hi there Lumabe,
I can't add anything else, unfortunately... To my understanding, Batz's machine is without any W.Nr. guess, whilst the second K-4 is probably W.Nr. 332 215, owing to its white underlined underwing Balkenkreuze (information kindly provided by Anderrs Hjørtsberg). Cheers Marc |
