Luftwaffe losses, NE England, 2 June 1941
 

In the late evening of 2 June 1941, 485 Sqdn (based at Leconfield) claimed 1 x Ju88 damaged c.25 miles east of Hornsea (East Yorkshire) and 1 x Ju88 destroyed c.14 east of Hornsea. Does anyone know the unit the Ju88's belonged to?

I do believe that at about the same time, but much further north, 3./106 lost Ju88 M2+DL(wnr.3422) off the river Tyne and may also have lost M2+BL (wnr.6180) in the same area. Any connection between these two losses and those off Hornsea?
