Who is this Polish Pilot in Battle of France?

Who is this Polish Pilot in Battle of France? He is a POW sitting on the wing of his plane after being shot down by the Germans (presumably flak for them to be on hand to bandage his head) Who is he, and is that a Hurricane behind?

Hi Larry,

That is Witold Jozef Glowacki of 605 Squadron.
On the 24th September 1940 he was attacking a Do17 and pursued it back to the French coast. He was shot down by 109's.
He was injured force landing his Hurricane.
He was taken to hospital but sadly died.
It is suspected that he suffered a reaction to an anti-tetanus injection.
