Wanted contact in Germany Osnabrück Region
 

Hello to all
I am researching my great uncle Ian Melville Campbell RNZAF who was the pilot of Lancaster QR-E ND-988 which flew out of skellingthorpe on a raid to the Dortmund ems canal 23 September 1944 that was shot down and crashed in the town of Wechte Germany
.

I would like to like to make contact with someone in the North Rhine-Westphalia region or anywhere that suits who would like to join me in a visit to the town and locate the crash site .

I have a well documented Raf report made on the crash in 1946 which was based on local information of people who witnessed the crash and following events.
