III/ZG 2 loss near Cognac on 21 October 1942

On 21 October 1942 Uffz Hans Saul of III./ZG 2 was killed when his Fw 190 A-2 WNr 5476 crashed at "Disedon, near Cognac" according to the Luftwaffe loss list ( Gen.Qu.6.Abt.). There is no place called Disedon and the Volksbund database lists his death place as Cognac.

Can someone confirm or correct the crash place of this pilot ?

Thanks in advance

Maybe Dizedon. There is "Route de Dizedon" about 1 km northwest of the airport.

You got it, Matti.

Dizedon does not appear in the list of places I checked because it is not a commune, but a "lieu-dit", belonging to the commune of CHATEAUBERNARD, where the Cognac airfield also is.

Thanks again
