Luftwaffe document that talks about 2~4% accuracy

Looking for the Luftwaffe document that talks about the 2~4% shooting accuracy against heavy bombers. I think it was mentioned in a book about the FW190. Thanks.

David Isby, The Decisive Duel, Chapter - Spitfire Vs 109: The Allied Bomber Offensive, page 331, is one of the sources where the initial accuracy of only 2 per cent in 1942 was reported. There the author did not make reference to the original Luftwaffe document. Sorry, could not be of more help.

IIRC I saw a reference to the accuracy against bombers in Hooton's Eagle in Flames book. My vague recollection is that the statistic was based on analysis of gun camera film. I am away from my home base and can't check this, but someone else may be able to look this up and try to identify a primary source.

Hello Don W,
Yes, you are correct.I happen to be reading Hooton's book at the moment and it states on page 264 "an analysis of gun camera film showed only 2% of rounds aimed at a bomber actually hit it" Hooten's reference is page 83 of Alfred Price 'World War II Fighter Conflict' Macdonald & Jane's, London (1975). I do not have this book so cannot add anything more.
