Hi Andy,

I have attached the NVM loss report, would you happen to have the grave photos? Would like to add this loss to our on-line remembrance pages website.

Cheers,

Melvin

Matti (All)

I can't make any sense as to what happened to this crew in the turn which made them crash. What does abgerutscht mean?

My interpretation:

Crash from turn = probably stalling when turning.

Thanks Matti

Yes it would make sense, since rutsch has the same meaning in Swedish as in German. I have great problems though with all those prefix letters the Germans love....:o.

Basically a stall turn and they slid along their own wing into the ground.

Hi Melvin,

For sure I'll ask one of my wife's cousins to see if they're able to do it.

Many thanks to Melvin, Stig and Matti for your excellent contribution,

Apologies for my ignorance, but having had a quick scout around and unable to find it whereabouts would they have taken off from?

Kind Regards
