He 111 Loss 26 May 43

Has anyone any records of a crash-landing of a He 111 at 0044 hrs on the above date-code either KSG 1/KG 101 (5T+CK) of KG 4 (5J+CK). Ac was 80-90% damaged

Matti as usual has emailed me-it was 2/KG 101 & it suffered at engine failure at Pleskau Süd

Accidentally just found FB entry from 2./K.G. 101 for 26.5.1943, not perfect copy but seems that the target for the night was Bhf. Tichwin.
