ID of German light a/c

On the website 63rdinfdiv.com under occupation photos page 62 there's a picture of a German sports plane in which on 13 July 1945 1st Lt Harry G. Green (US Army) reportedly was killed in a crash
Picture is also on fold3.com (image/292182449).

I wonder if a German a/c expert can point me to the type of the plane?

Thanks for the info.
