He59 in Norway
Hi,
I'm a new site member. Not strictly re. your query, but thought you might be interested. New daughter in law is Norwegian historian...just given me lots of WW2 German 'unofficial' 'photos to wade through....great! One is a lovely shot of a He 59...would love info on unit, history etc. Markings are PP+AO. Second P has an over painted vertical white bar roughly half the width of the letter with a small figure 1 in it. Are lots of other shots of He 115, B@V 138, Ju52 float etc, but this is the best. Be really grateful for any info. cheers Neil |

He59 in Norway
Hi,
Just been given some great 'photos of German forces in Norway, esp. sea/float 'planes. One of an He59 clearly shows codes PP+A0, with first P overpainted with a white vertical bar roughly half the width of the letter with a black number 1 in it. Would love any info. on unit, possible location etc. cheers Neil |
Re: He59 in Norway

Re: He59 in Norway
Hi Neilsin,
The guys restoring a He115 in Norway would be interested in the He115 photos. Never know, might be the same aircraft. Sorry for the rag link! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...fly-again.html regards Mark |
