KG zbV 50 Stalingrad/Kuban

Hi Guys - I have a quick question about KG zbV 50. They were tasked with the Stalingrad supply operation, first at Tatsinskaya (until it was hit by the Red Army on Christmas eve), and then to Salsk and Sverevo as seen below (from the main website). KG zbV 50 was one of the units then assigned to help supply 17. Armee retreating into the Kuban. So, my question is, were they involved in these operations while based in Mariupol or were they there to refit for a bit before moving on? Meriupol seems like a far distance to supply the Kuban, but then again, Salsk and Sverevo were far from Stalingrad.
