Major Karl-Gottfried Nordmann
Hi all
Would anyone have any loss list information regarding the fighter flown by Major Karl-Gottfried Nordmann, Geschwaderkommodore of JG 51, when involved in the collision with Oberleutnant Rudolf Busch, Gruppenkommandeur of I./JG 51, that ended his combat flying career? From the Bestand und Bewegungsmeldungen on Holm's site it is almost certain that this was a Fw 190 A-3. Is there any information such as werknummer and tactical code available concerning this fighter? I do know that Busch, who was killed in the incident, was flying Fw 190 A-3 "Black <<" but nothing about Nordmann's fighter. Any help would be greatly appreciated or at least clarification that this information is unavailable. Many thanks. Horrido! Leo |
