The only incident I have for He 111H-6 WNr.4371 is while it was with the II./KG 55, when it was slightly damaged 15.Sept. 1941 in a taxiing accident at Fl.Pl. Kirowograd.

I have that one as He 111H-6 WNr.4381 of the 7./KG 27 coded 1G+ER (Stammkennzeichen: VF+WR). Aerial combat 25.Oct. 1942 with enemy fighters over Stalingrad (Pl.Qu. 43 81). Beobachter Ogefr. Alfons Nadler WIA, returned to Fl.Pl. Millerowo, 30% damaged.

Re: Info needed on He111 W.Nr. 4371 - lost in Russia KG27
George and I have worked together building our loss database. WNr. 4381 is also reported as a 100% loss with KG 26 on 1-Jun-42, obviously earlier than the 25-Oct-42 date. One of those entries is wrong, but which? Don't know that that helps in the query for the WNr. 4371 loss. The LW loss reports were hand typed so it's possible that one of them was mis-typed for WNr. 4371, but there is no way to know unless other documentary evidence materializes.
