Re: Fw 190A-8 WNr 680835
Correct, according to Crashed Enemy Aircraft Report No. 257, this 190 was found in Villacoublay.
The tail of the twin-engined a/c behind 680 835 in Revi16s Link belongs to Me 410 A-3, Werknummer 170 134 „7A+EH“of 1.(F)/121. The US-"Air Technical Intelligence Report A-78" covers the Me 410 as well, but did not mention 680 835... From my notes: "weiße 10" of 7./JG 54 - with a large question mark... Regards Heuser |
Re: Fw 190A-8 WNr 680835
Thx for the info. But do tail and fuselage belong together?
Are those the hangars of FRW Ago at Villacoublay - the repair works used to combine wing pairs, tail units etc at free will? Otoh - this is a Fieseler-produced example... Regards Roland |

Hi everyone,
As stated before, Crashed Enemy Aircraft report (CEA257) lists this aircraft as being found at Villacoublay. Also, my late friend Merle Olmsted sent me an additional view of this aircraft that also lists Villacoublay as it location. Steve Sheflin |

Thanks Heuser.
One of those FW 190 may be WNr. 932645 and seems quite intact. Sorry for jumping into this topic. Best regards ClinA-78 |
